Blue moon dinner at the Palau Maricel - Sitges
For the first time in 25 years the spectacular Palau Maricel in Sitges opened it´s roof terrace for a full moon diner. A special ´blue moon´ as it was the second super moon in august. Beautiful place, great dinner, nice jazz music and best possible company.
On Wednesday, August 21 the Palau Maricel we attended the second edition of this summer's Sopar de la Luna Llena or Blue Moon dinners. It is a unique experience to observe the starry sky of Sitges and the summer calm of the Mediterranean Sea from an emblematic and privileged location. The fact is that, beyond the suggestive noucentiste terraces of the Palau, we were also able to enjoy a delicious dinner, which offered a gastronomic esperience based on crispy broad beans with sausage, scallops au gratin with mushrooms, Txangurro parfait with roasted peppers and beef wafers stuffed with mushrooms and brie cheese. All this, combined with the live performance of the jazz trio Arena y Agua.
