Barcelona!

Barcelona is about 45 minutes from Torre Nova and perfect for a day trip. Discover Gaudí’s architecture, including the Sagrada Família and Park Güell, wander through the Gothic Quarter or visit La Boqueria market. There’s plenty to do with children as well. After a day in the city, you return to the calm of Torre Nova — a contrast many guests really value.

Costa Dorada beaches

The beaches of the Costa Dorada are about 30 minutes away and ideal for a day by the sea. Places like Sitges combine beach, atmosphere, shops and restaurants, while Vilanova i la Geltrú and Coma-ruga offer a quieter setting. After a day at the coast, you return to the calm of the inland.

Montserrat, wine and local villages

The region around Torre Nova offers a wide variety of day trips. Visit Montserrat and its monastery, taste wines in the Penedès region, or explore towns such as Vilafranca del Penedès and Igualada. Even the Pyrenees and Andorra are within about two hours.

Catalan food & wine

Food plays an important role in daily life in Catalonia. Lunch is often taken later and enjoyed at a relaxed pace, also with children. Around Torre Nova, you’ll find a wide range of restaurants, from simple local spots to more refined dining. Recommended are Castell d'Orpí, Cal Frare and Somiatruites.

Culture and local traditions

Catalonia has a rich culture with well-preserved traditions. During local festivals, known as Festa Major, towns and villages come alive with music, dancing and parades. Highlights include the Castellers and the Correfoc, where fire, dragons and costumes create a unique and memorable experience.

Active and outdoor

If you enjoy being active, there are plenty of options on and around Torre Nova and across Catalonia. You can swim, walk, run or cycle, and there are opportunities nearby for tennis, padel and golf. For those looking for more adventure, activities such as climbing, karting or hot air ballooning are also available in the region.
