Within 30 minutes by car from Torre Nova you reach the beaches of the Costa Dorada (Golden coast). The famous seaside village of Sitges, also known as the 'St. Tropez of Spain', traditionally a fishing and artists village. For beach fun, shopping, splendid food and nightlife. More 'Spanish' beaches are nearby, in Vilanova i la Geltrú, Coma Ruga and San Salvador.

Catalonia has a rich culture and well-preserved traditions. Especially the summer festivals 'Festa Major' in every town and village show the pride and passion of its inhabitants. Colorful parades, music, dance, fireworks and food are the ingredients for an authentic experience. The 'Castellers' (human towers) are an absolute highlight, as well as the 'Correfoc' ('walking fire), an old Catalan tradition in which fire, dragons and devils play a key role.
