Torre Nova, historic estate in the green countryside of Barcelona
On our estate you'll find yourselves at home in the real Spain. Breakfast with fresh baguettes, the doors wide open. A walk through nature, a refreshing dip in the pool. Tapas with a glass of local wine and dining in your own garden. The small scale of our holiday resort guarantees a sense of calm.
The estate and the apartments
Torre Nova is a Catalan villa, built in 1900 by the Marques of Gironella. Our vast estate borders on one side to the historic village of La Torre de Claramunt and on the other side directly to nature. The villa, completely refurbished in 2010, now has got 6 holiday apartments of which we rent 5. One apartment for 2 persons and four for 4 persons, on the ground floor and the first floor. They range in size from 60 to 110 square meters.
The pool and the garden
The large garden offers plenty of opportunity to stroll or relax on terraces, lawns, and numerous shady spots. Also an ideal setting for your breakfast or your home delivered dinner... To refresh, enjoy a swim in the large pool of 15 by 5 meters, filled with water from our own natural source. Next to the garden is the fruit orchard where you can pick your own fruit.
Location
Torre Nova is situated at 55 km from Barcelona, Catalonia. There is an excellent highway connection with the airports of Barcelona (toll-free), Girona and Reus (toll) and the beaches of Sitges.
