Festa Major 2012 Igualada and Vilafranca del Penedès

This year, the Festa Major of nearby town Igualada takes place from 16 to 20 of August. Four days of spectacle, 10 minutes form Torre Nova. Highlights: the 'Cercavila' or grand procession on Saturday and the action of the Castellers (human towers) on Sunday.

One week later it is the turn of Vilafranca del Penedès (25 km form Torre Nova), around de 30th of August . The highlight here is August 30th, "Diada de Sant Felix ', when many Castellers associations join one of the main competitions of the year.
